Dothan boasts the only urban Forever Wild Land Trust Trail in Alabama. Winding ten miles on the northwest side of town, Beaver Creek Trail is brand new and full of challenges for trail biking and hiking. This trail is marked and easy to navigate, with two entrances – one on Flowers Chapel Road, and the other on Fortner Street. Ten miles of trail are open currently, and all ten miles will be open on October 1, 2016.
