This series features artwork by artist Hannah Edgman, whose series Beauty Beyond the Orange captures the vibrancy and resilience of the Wiregrass region. Using clay, acrylic, and watercolor, Edgman explores local landmarks and scenes through the lens of progress and transformation. Her work incorporates symbols like the ubiquitous traffic cone to challenge viewers to see beauty amid construction, barriers, and growth.
“By looking beyond the orange, the viewer is forced to take a step back and appreciate the here and now, while also looking towards the future of our growing and colorful city,” Edgman says of her work.
